Gestern machte der Bericht die Runde, wonach man keine iPad´s in Bar kaufen kann, sondern lediglich per Kredikarte um die Anzahl pro Haushalt auf 2 zu beschränken. Mal davon abgesehen, dass ich nicht weiß was das soll, passierte nun das unausweichliche, was auch mir passieren würde!
Eine ältere Dame ging in einen Apple-Store um sich ihren ersten Computer, ein iPad, zu kaufen. Sie hatte dafür hart gespart und jeden Dollar auf die Seite gelegt. Man verweigerte ihr aber das iPad aus o.g. Gründen.
Soweit zur Vorgeschichte. Der Rest ist Geschichte und kann in fast allen iPad Blog´s nachgelesen werden. Da ich beabsichtige, sollte ich mir ebenfalls ein iPad zulegen, dieses in Bar zu kaufen rief ich gestern bei meinem lokal ansässigen MediaMarkt an, der ebenfalls authorisierter Apple Händler ist um zu fragen wann und ob auch ein iPad zur Verfügung stehen würde. (Hier kann man auch in Bar bezahlen) Ich dachte die Dame hat bestimmt schon etliche Anrufe deswegen bekommen. Fehlanzeige! Erst behauptete Sie, momentan wären alle Geräte ausverkauft und man weiß nicht wann neue kommen, (???) revidierte dann schnell ihre Aussage, als Sie im PC nachgesehen hat um was für ein Gerät es sich handelt. Aber jetzt kommt der Klopper:
Die Dame am Telefon sagte mir, dass völlig unklar ist, wann Sie Geräte bekommen und das auch keine Demo Geräte zur Verfügung stehen würden. Apple würde sich zu gegebener Zeit melden und mitteilen, wann Geräte geliefert würden.
AHA! Ähhh… Wie bitte? Authorisierter Apple Fachhandel? Keine Geräte? Kein Termin?
Also, ich dachte ja, das höchste der Gefühle ist, dass man an den App-Store gebunden ist, kein Flash hat und auf pornografische Inhalte verzichten müsste. (Wobei ich darauf eh verzichten kann) Aber das man die Käufer so gezielt in die Enge treibt und Online bestellen lässt und nur in Apple-Stores einkaufen lässt bringt mich echt auf die Palme. Nicht nur, dass ich bei einer Online Bestellung sowieso schon bis zum 07. Juni warten müsste, habe ich eigentlich keine List extra hunderte Kilometer zu fahren, nur um ein iPad zu kaufen. Und dann wird man auch noch kontingentiert.
Liebe Leute, wo ist die Zeit geblieben, in der ich in den Laden gehen konnte und das Gerät meiner Begierde anschauen konnte und testen konnte? Zumindest als „Normalo“ Benutzer, wie viele tausende auch, interessiert mich der Apple-Internet-Shop nicht, nicht der toll aussehende Apple-Store und das die Apple Mitarbeiter klatschen, nur weil ich ein technisches Gerät kaufe. Ich will es anfassen, ich will Beratung, ich will wieder kommen können, wenn ich ein Problem habe, (Jaja, geht im Apple-Store auch) ich will mein Gerät finanzieren können, wenn ich das will. Kurz um: Ich bin ein MediaMarkt, Saturn etc. Gänger, der erwartet, dass sein Wunschgerät überall verfügbar ist.
