Kurz vor dem Wochenende möchte ich noch ein paar Infos schreiben, auch wenn es über das WeTab leider nichts neues zu berichten gibt.
- Wie engadget.com berichtet, wird der ExoPC nun auch mit HDMI und FullHD angeboten. Als Basis für die Software dient Windows 7 mit einer aufgesetzten eigenen Benutzeroberfläche. Sehr auffällig ist hier aber, dass diese genauso wie das WeTab bedient wird. Schaut euch einfach mal die Bilder an im Artikel. Ich persönlich muss sagen, dass mir die Oberfläche gefällt. Irgendwie minimalistisch einfach. Aber entscheidet selbst.
- ComputerBild Spiele hat das iPad auf seine Spieletauglichkeit getestet und ist zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass es Vor- und Nachteile hat. (Ach ne!) Positiv zu vermelden ist, dass selbst bei voll beleuchtetem Display erst nach 7 Stunden und 50 min. der Akku leer war. Strategiespiele wie Civilisation und Rennspiele wie Need for Speed laufen gut und machen Spaß. Actionspiele wie Call of Duty laufen dagegen eher bescheiden, da z.B. der eigene Finger das Ziel verdeckt. Auch muss bedacht werden, dass man über längere Zeit 666gr Gewicht bewegt und das erfordert nach geraumer Zeit dicke Oberarme und da mann z.B. beim Autorennen das ganze Pad bewegt kann man es auch nicht hinlegen.
- Golem.de berichtet über ein neues Case für das iPad. Mit diesem sogenannten Clamcase soll man das iPad annährend in ein Notebook verwandeln. Die eingebaute Tastatur in dem Case wird per Bluetooth mit dem iPad verbunden. Zu den Preisen schweigt sich der Hersteller noch aus. Hier ist ein kurzes Video dazu.
