Helmut Hoffer von Ankershoffen hat für den kommenden Samstag, den 22.06.2010 um 17:00 Uhr eine neue Fragerunde auf Facebook angekündigt. Er wird sich dort erneut den kritischen Fragen der Community stellen.
Ich hatte selbst einen Kommentar hinterlassen in dem ich geschrieben habe, dass es doch nur noch um die Verfügbarkeit geht und ob und wann das Gerät denn nun erscheint und was mit der Roadshow ist. Schliesslich würde auch nicht auf meine Emails reagiert. (Übrigens bisher immer noch nicht). Der Kommentar von HHvA folgte auf dem Fuße und enthielt einen Verweis zur wetab.mobi Seite. Dort wären die Informationen doch alle zu sehen.
Augenscheinlich habe ich damit aber den Nerv getroffen. Denn es gibt wohl einige unbeantwortete Emails. Und schließlich die Mehrheit der Benutzer, die sich nicht für die vielen technischen Fragen interessieren sondern nur noch harte Fakten sehen und anfassen wollen. Ich kann es verstehen. Auch wenn mich der technische Hintergrund schon interessiert. Aber wirklich viel neues kann doch eigentlich nicht zu berichten sein.
Apropos neues: Am selben Abend postet HHvA noch einen Kommentar, wonach sich das WeTab den Österreichern nähert. Die so genannte Fachtagung (Mobility Summit Austria 2010) mit dem Schwerpunkt Mobilität und mobile Daten soll dem Zweck dienen, das Gerät in Österreich bekannt zu machen und dort zu vermarkten. Ahja! Mein Kommentar folgte sofort aber auch hier entgegnete man, dass man dort Medienkooperationen finden wolle, da ja zig CEOs, CFOs und CIOs anwesend wären. Ähm, es geht doch für den vermeindlichen WeTab Benutzer nicht primär um die Medien?! Es geht um das Handling, die Software, Apps, Spiele, etc. etc. und nicht welcher Medienheini mich auf meinem Startbilschirm mit Werbung zuspamt, weil ich ihm anonymisiert Daten übermittelt habe.
Einzig und allein klar ist, dass die Informationen über das WeTab vom Hersteller immer langsamer fließen und auch nichts neues mehr zu Tage kommt. Die Internetseite ist nicht mehr überarbeitet worden. Termine zur Roadshow sind nicht bekannt obwohl für Mai angekündigt. Als Blog Schreiber wäre ich gerne bei einem der Termine dabei gewesen. Um die Geräte und den Hype weiter oben zu halten sollten für mein dafürhalten neue Videos erscheinen, mehr über Android zu lesen und zu sehen sein und auch mal das ein oder andere Spiel laufen. Das ist nun mal das, was den Hauptteil der potentiellen Käufer interessiert.
Wenn HHvA aber mit Roadshow meint, dass die Fachtagungen wie next10 (Allein für den Eintrittspreis kriege ich 2 WeTabs) und die Mobility Summit 2010 die Roadshow sein sollen, dann ist er auf dem Holzweg. Ich dachte bei Roadshow eher an Daten und Termine wann und wo ich das Gerät in welcher Redaktion begutachten und ausprobieren kann…
Sascha Pallenberg von netbooknews hat es gestern Abend treffend formuliert: „Ich habe keine Fragen mehr, ich will das finale Gerät haben!“ Um sich selbst (ohne meine persönliche Wertung) einen aktuellen Eindruck verschaffen will, sollte an der Fragerunde teilnehmen und sich die ganzen Posts und Kommentare bei Facebook durchlesen.

I even had a comment in which I have written, but it only goes to the availability and whether and when the device appears and then what about the Road Show. Finally, would not respond to my email. (Incidentally, so far still do not). The comment followed on the heels of HHvA and contained a reference to wetab.mobi page. There, the information would have to see it all.
Apparently so, but I have struck a nerve. And there are some unanswered emails. Finally, the majority of users who do not care for the many technical issues but only see hard facts and feel like. I can understand it. Even if I’m already interested in the technical background. But really much new but can not actually be reported.
Speaking of new: On the same evening HHvA still posting a comment, which is approaching the WeTab the Austrians. The so-called conference (Mobility Summit Austria 2010) with an emphasis on mobility and wireless data should serve the purpose of making the instrument known in Austria and market there. Ahja! My comment was followed immediately but here you said that you would find there, media cooperation, since dozens of CEOs, CFOs and CIOs would be present. Um, it’s all for the help avoid WeTab user is not primarily about the media? It is about the handling of the software, apps, games, etc., etc., and not what the media Heini zuspamt Startbilschirm with me on my advertising, because I had sent him an anonymous data.
Solely clear is that the information flows along the WeTab by the manufacturer and more slowly and nothing new comes to light. The website is not revised. Dates for the roadshow are not known although announced in May. As a blog writer, I would liked to have been at one of the dates here. To the equipment and the hype continues to hold above should opine on my new video’s seem to read more about Android and to see his times and also run one or the other game. That’s just what interests the bulk of potential buyers.
If HHvA but with Roadshow says that conferences such as next10 (for the price of admission alone, I get two WeTabs) and the Mobility Summit 2010, the road show should be, then he is on the wrong track. I thought more of roadshow dates and when and where I can inspect the unit in which editors and try.
